The Hopkinton High School Art
Department is pleased to announce that our students were recognized with a remarkable 38 state level awards in the 2013 Boston Globe Scholastic Art Awards. Our students' artwork was selected from a field of nearly 10,000 entries from public, private, regional and arts magnet schools statewide.
In the Massachusetts competition, Hopkinton High School students earned 8 Gold Keys, 12 Silver Keys, and 18 Honorable Mentions. Gold Key works will advance for national judging. Student work from every specialty at the high school was recognized. Congratulations to our winning students for their outstanding achievement!
Gold and Silver key winners work will be on exhibit at the State Transportation Building, 10 Park Plaza Boston fromMonday, February 11 through Friday, April19, 2013. The free exhibit is open Weekdays - 9:00 to 5:00 including holidays and Saturdays & Sundays - 12:00 noon - 4:00 p.m.
![]() Hopkinton High School is pleased to announce that Talia Patapoutian has been named a Semifinalist in the National Merit Scholarship Program. Brian Leonard, Roland Muench, Melanie Fritsche, Tyler Mikulis, Ben Card, and Alex Kirshy have also been named Commended. These students are being recognized for the exceptional Academic promise demonstrated by their outstanding performance on the qualifying test used for program entry. The Student of the Month is an award to celebrate the accomplishments of our students on a monthly basis. They are nominated and voted on by the high school faculty.
