PRESS RELEASE - SCHOOL COMMITTEE WORKING GROUP TO DRAFT CRITERIA FOR FEASIBILITY STUDY
FOR FUTURE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECTS
At its March 1, 2012 meeting, the School Committee voted to create a Criteria Working Group (‘CWG’) to draft potential criteria against which future Elementary School Building Project options will be measured.
The CWG will be officially appointed by the School Committee as an ad-hoc committee. The CWG will be led by the Assistant Superintendent and will report directly to the School Committee. Proposed Group: Elementary School Building Criteria Working Group (‘CWG’)
Purpose:The CWG, a committee appointed by the School Committee, is charged with developing and recommending a list of criteria for inclusion in the next Feasibility Study.The Committee will be chaired by the Assistant Superintendent, will operate under the requirements of the Open Meeting Law, and shall function under Robert’s Rules of Order.
