  • Once again this year we are offering voluntary insurance to our students, our base plan will once again be underwritten by Berkley Life & Health Insurance Company (A+), with optional catastrophic coverage’s underwritten by US Fire Insurance Company (A). Parents may enroll either by printing the enrollment form and mailing it along with a check or money order to Bob McCloskey Insurance, or by paying by credit card on line through our PayPal enrollment form. The voluntary rates will be the same as last year.

  • Military Family Assistance
    The Massachusetts Department of Education requires school districts to report students eligible for assistance as a member of a military family as defined by the Interstate Compact on Educational Opportunity for Military Children.

    What Children Are Eligible for Assistance Under the Compact?
    Children of:
    • Active duty members of the uniformed services, National Guard and Reserve on active duty orders
    • Members or veterans who are medically discharged or retired for (1) year
    • Members who die on active duty

    What Children Are Not Eligible for Assistance Under the Compact?
    Children of:
    • Inactive members of the National Guard and Reserves
    • Members now retired not covered above
    • Veterans not covered above
    • Dept of Defense personnel, federal agency civilians and contract employees not defined as active duty

    Strategic Plan Public Forums
    The Hopkinton School Committee in conjunction with the Superintendent, Steering Committee and Administrative Team has developed a new 5-year Strategic Plan to guide the work of the district.  We are thankful for all of the public input gathered through public forums and survey data and are ready to share the results.  The following dates have been selected to provide opportunity for public comment prior to the School Committee’s vote to accept the plan.  We encourage you to attend so that your voice can be heard.  Forum dates, location and times are as listed below:

    Proposed Group: Elementary School Building Criteria Working Group (‘CWG’)

    Purpose:The CWG, a committee appointed by the School Committee, is charged with developing and recommending a list of criteria for inclusion in the next Feasibility Study.The Committee will be chaired by the Assistant Superintendent, will operate under the requirements of the Open Meeting Law, and shall function under Robert’s Rules of Order.
